Stephanie and Tyler’s wedding has been one I have been anxiously awaiting all year. I met Stephanie at Masso’s Bridal show what feels like forever and ever ago. As soon as we started talking, I knew we just clicked and I had to photograph her wedding. Her energy is just contagious and she’s so much fun! I had never photographed a wedding before at Pratt Gardens (A gorgeous garden local to where I live in New Jersey) and have been super excited to finally get to shoot one there!
We started out at Stephanie & Tyler’s house where I got to meet their adorable rescue dog, Gidget who sits like a teddy bear. There was a beautiful bouquet of flowers from Tyler with the words, “It’s finally here!” that I just gushed over. I’ve seen cute text messages and letters, but I just loved the addition of matching flowers on the day of. Both of the families were so nice. Stephanie’s mom, Donna was just the sweetest making sure we had everything we needed and helping out wherever she could. (I can see where Stephanie get’s her awesomeness from.)
Stephanie rode to the Ceremony in an incredible antique Plymouth owned by a family friend, Bob. The car had been passed down from his father and grandfather and created an awesome backdrop as Stephanie walked down to Tyler for an absolutely beautiful and emotional first look. You can just tell how much in love these two are.
The ceremony itself rocked, Officiated by Chaplain Patrick Anthony of South Jersey Officiants. There was Dr. Suess, … which was epic. There really wasn’t a dry eye at this wedding. Even the bridesmaids were all crying. The ceremony was truly custom and talked about their journey with each other and their future, and even my husband agreed was one of the best ceremonies we’ve seen in a long while.
The reception was at Maggiano’s Little Italy in Cherry Hill. Everything was all in the same room, Cocktail hour and reception. Dave and I captured the epic fun of their dance floor (keeping the party going by Bob Morgan entertainment), their cake cutting (Cake by Stella Bakery), and an amusing bouquet/garter toss. Before we left, Donna checked in to make sure we took home some delicious Carmel Apple Favors. They didn’t make it 24 hours.
