It’s not often I get to photograph a wedding and also kinda be a guest (though it seems to be happening a bit more the past few months). I met Brittany and Shawn through Dave a few years ago. They used to work with him at RK Chevrolet in Vineland before Dave went full time photography. Several of the people there including Brittany and Shawn were guests at our own wedding. I can tell you after being a guest at a friend’s wedding, I’m always dying to have a camera in my hand. I really feel much more in the zone when I’m shooting.
So Brittany and Shawn. Another incredibly emotional wedding. (Or maybe it’s just that I’m more emotionally connected to them in general since their good friends). I knew they were perfect for each other, but photographing their wedding just sealed it more. It’s so inspiring to see so much love between a family. Going through and editing their images, I couldn’t pick favs (A common issue when I get too damn emotional). Just the way they look at each other, the way Shawn is with Brittany’s kids, how incredibly happy their kids were they were finally a family, it melts my heart to mush. Brittany is just absolutely beautiful and everything about their rustic wedding was dreamy. She did a fantastic job planning everything.
I’m not really sure where to start without there being too many inside jokes o_o So I guess, enjoy the photos =D Dave also did video, so we’ll have that posted soon, too!
