Old York Country Club Wedding | Taylor & Randy | New Jersey Wedding Photography

August 1, 2018

Taylor and Randy got married at the Old York Country Club. It feels like forever since we did their engagement photos at Longwood Gardens. They were the first couple I got lucky enough to be there with when the huge new fountains started running, and they were totally ok with me being “Just one more photo!” …”Oh wait, One more!” crazy that I get when I get excited over photos. I knew it would be an easy wedding day since they were so laid back.

It was my first time at this venue, but felt like it had so much to offer photo wise! Taylor described it as having a French Country feel. It had a gorgeous ballroom with a super cool painted brick wall, it had an outdoor cocktail lounge all strung up with twinkle lights (my favorite!!!!), a small intimate outdoor ceremony space with flowers and a long walkway. There was a lot of grounds to shoot on, a barn, and an epic hill for doing sunset photos.

We started at prep where I instantly fell in love with the invitations, only to find out that Taylor had made them herself!! I loved the texture and feel of the paper. We didn’t have a first look, so we did single portraits of the Groom with the groomsmen and the Bride with the bridesmaids before started on details in the reception and then heading over to ceremony. I loved listening to their vows. These two have been together forever and their love for each other is still just as new and flirty as I’m sure it was when they first met. I just love how they make each other laugh so easily. The letters on their cocktail table are ones they have saved since they were younger and wrote back and forth to each other. It all made the hopeless romantic in me have mushy happy butterfly feels. And of course I love a good cake smash. I just love it when a couple is willing to have fun and not worry about the little things. ( IE, makeup, hair, and the dress getting dirty). Congratulations!!

PS: Left a few behind the scenes cameos in this gallery. Been collecting them for a while, but figured I’d share this time =P
