I love vintage things. I love pinup. I love retro hair. I adore Brittany and Kyle. I met Brittany at a Rams Head Inn Bridal show a while back and I remember thinking how stunning she was and complimenting how incredible her eyebrows were. I was so excited when she ended up booking us. We did their engagement session at Smithville (which I somehow missed posting on my blog and officially have to do that), and it was one of my favorites to date. (It currently sits as a sample at my studio). I absolutely fell in love with these two — they are so relaxed and fun to be around and I knew their wedding was going to be out of this world.
From vintage jewelry, gold sequins dresses, perfect hair and makeup, to her gorgeous Kleinfeld gown, I knew the moment I walked in the door I was going to be printing this wedding for my studio. Brittany literally looks like an old hollywood starlet. We started with Prep at Ram’s Head inn before heading right to their church for their ceremony. The emotions in the room were so beautiful, seeing the joy from these two finally get married is exactly why I do this. Instead of rice, bubbles or something else, the guests threw Lavender (which smelled amazing) as they exited the church. Upon arriving back at Ram’s head for the reception, we were greeted by the most beautiful candlelit ballroom I have ever seen. It’s rare to see the tall candelabras since some venue’s don’t allow open flame let alone tall candles. We had to speed through photos as the sun set, but Brittany is kind of like a pro model (she’s a dancer) so she rocked it. The incredible love and joy didn’t end with the ceremony, the reception was filled with beautiful words and stories and emotional dances. So excited to share this wedding!
