Piazza di Roma | Jamielyn & Doug | Halloween Wedding

February 28, 2018

Jamielyn and Doug held their halloween / Masquerade themed wedding at the Piazza di Roma this past October! It was a mostly DIY wedding. Jamie made all her table settings herself as little fairy houses, she created her bouquet and florals. It was unique in the fact they actually had their cocktail hour prior to their ceremony where they mingled with their guests ahead of time. Final fantasy music played throughout the cocktail hour (If you aren’t familiar, it’s a video game series that is actually one of my absolute favorites). It was optional to come in costume, but all the guests got into the fun and dressed up for the occasion. The bridal party wore fairy wings and vampire cloaks, the escorts for the bride dressed as literal Minions! When the ceremony started, Jamielyn and Doug decided to play a prank on their guests — As the bridal party stood up front, there was no officiant and “Elvis” joined them from the guests and officiated the ceremony. It was a super tight nit group of people at this wedding — Jamie and Doug both sang songs for each other and their guests, everyone danced… and in the end we did photo and video to cover everything! Check it out =)
