Theresa Marie (Ms Manchester) was planning her road trip from Pittsburgh to NYC to take a makeup workshop with Mac Cosmetics when she wrote me about collaborating. She is both a makeup artist and a model with a love for FX. I noticed her portfolio was primarily nude work so as always my main objective was to bring something completely different to her portfolio. She packed up a bunch of fun dresses and away she went!
I had a lot of fun with this shoot — I got to take a lot of artistic liberty to try out new lighting techniques. The double exposures and flow (movement) images are all done in camera- they were not created afterwards in post. What was amazing is that she has a full Lisa Frank sleeve (anyone remember those colorful, cute folders and pencils and such when you were a kid =D?) One of her dresses matched her tattoo perfectly!!! Would you believe that was her Prom dress o_o???? (Top set)
