Running Deer Golf Club Wedding Inspiration | NJ Wedding Photography

April 14, 2018

I love photographing anything at Running Deer Country club. A couple bridal shows ago,  Laura of Savannah’s Garden (the florist that did our wedding) had put together a stunningly beautiful ceremony setup at the new “Timbers” area for the show. I was chomping at the bit to photograph a couple with it, but alas I just got to do details. That day we decided the next show, we would setup an actual styled wedding shoot. Laura put together this incredible day with a ton of awesome vendors who all helped to make this thing happen! It was pretty cold that day, so we decided to setup the “ceremony” indoors. You might recognize Diane and Rob who came to model. I photographed their wedding earlier this year at Grounds for Sculpture! As soon as we arrived, we started on the table details. I knew I wanted something that would show off the gorgeous window light that Running Deer has, but I also knew I wanted to really show off the incredible watercolor lighting and string lights that DFX did on the venue by photographing a separate set after dark. After Diane was done in hair and Makeup by my favorite makeup artist, Mariluz West (same artist that makes all my boudoir clients look amazing), we set out to freeze outside for some couples portraits. (It was super windy.) Laura’s brother brought the adorable puppy for us to photograph. After we took a quick break for lunch, we photographed the Arch that Laura put up for our “Ceremony.” I absolutely loved the lanterns on the floor and all the greenery draped across the chairs. I’m a huge fan of anything whimsical, so I loved how it brought the outside in. At this point, Diane changed into the Reception dress (which ended up being my favorite and totally wish I had more photos in this gorgeous gown) and we finished up our night with a short dance on the ballroom floor. Please enjoy the photos! I hope they inspire you while planning your own wedding for some incredible details! All the vendors are linked at the bottom of this post =).
