This wedding was so surreal, from prep I was greeted by Tiffany with a huge hug and compliment on the day’s poke dot dress, her bridal party was super inviting and everyone was so great. I knew I was going to have a great day with Tiffany and Ian. So let’s backtrack. Tiffany is a singer in a Band called DD White (She’s super awesome, you can check out her music at https://www.tiffanywiesend.com ). She and Ian met at an open mic in NYC, he proposed in South France. They got married in Asbury Park at the Asbury Hotel. (Asbury Park was there first “non NYC date” and they fell in love with it! Anyway, so it wasn’t long into makeup, while I was doing details, they started singing — complete improve, and then everyone else chimed in and followed along. It was incredible to listen to and it didn’t end there! I felt like I was being serenaded with the most incredible singing all day. We head to the church for the ceremony, which was a typical mass until the end when they broke out into song again. After the ceremony, we walked down to the beach to be greeted by a huge wall of fog! We didn’t let that stop us from taking portraits before heading back to the venue (which btw is a super fun and unique location!) By the time we hit reception, we had multiple live bands and performers and the entire night was spent with so much song throughout. The party was somewhat informal with a bbq, no assigned seating, and pretty much everything else taking place whenever the mood was right. Enjoy the photos!
